There will be emphasis placed on the four domains of communication which are: reading, listening, writing and speaking. Our goal is to add higher level grammatical structures and vocabulary to their Spanish I repertoire, and apply them to every day situations. You will be exposed not only to common phrases and ways of speaking in Spanish, but also more in depth cultural differences between the United States and other Spanish speaking countries. Spanish II is a speaking intensive course, in which students will be expected to speak in front of the class (presentational) and to their seat partners (interpersonal). In addition, we will learning the two tenses in the past and how to incorporate them to every day communication.
